A FURIOUS ex-Labour MP has blasted his Tory successor for “infantile behaviour” for sporting a T-shirt mocking him.
Offended Graham Jones hit out after 24-year-old Sara Britcliffe pulled on the clothes together with his image emblazoned on it.
The ‘Crimson Wall’ MP claimed she misplaced a guess and Labour-supporting associates made her put on the T-shirt.
In a message put out on Fb, she stated there was “no mocking” of Jones saying she was sorry for “inflicting offence”.
She added: “Folks have gotten the improper finish of the stick right here. I’ve apologised to Graham.
“There was no mocking of him, it was a Secret Santa current and in reality mocked me.”
Britcliffe was one in every of Boris Johnson’s new MPs from the north of England – breaking Labour’s Crimson Wall – to win her seat and provides the PM an 80-seat majority.
Labour gained the seat in 1992 and has held on to it till the election in December.
Jones was first elected within the Hyndburn, Lancashire, seat in 2010 with a 3,000 majority.
